Vegas on its own has far more that could go towards establishing political stability than the other factions (I am also unsure as to whether engaging with more of the smaller faction quests may have changed the ending to remedy this). Granted, I do not know about the relative suggestions of political stability in other endings, but given the context of New Vegas surrounding the second battle of Hoover Dam, I would expect greater things from an independent Vegas. Still, I could possibly accept this given Yes Man's decision to torch the generators in the Dam (I will raise my additional problems with Yes Man later on).

almost irreparably, leaving the city in disrepair and overwhelming the Followers. However, following parts of the ending seem to suggest that the independent New Vegas would be marred by violence, etc. It was suggested that a weakened securitron army was unable to hold complete control over Vegas, followed by a brief period of turmoil before Vegas emerged as an independent 'power' in the Mojave desert. To set context, my ending reel led to the independent New Vegas, the legion being defeated as well as the NCR being driven from the Hoover dam. TLDR I was disappointed by how the ending reel seemed self-contradictory and far too pessimistic about the potential situation of New Vegas.
